Job Type :Â Full Time
Location : Kerala
Experience : Fresher – 1 Year
Role and Responsibility:
- Assist in assembling components on the shop floor based on assembly drawings and engineering instructions.
- Conduct quality checks, verify fitment, and ensure first-time-right output.
- Log daily production data (e.g., PPA sheets, log books) and report weekly scrap/rejection notes.
- Use basic measuring and diagnostic tools (e.g., micrometer, vernier caliper, go/no-go gauge) for inspection and calibration.
- Participate in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment; support line efficiency improvements.
- Maintain compliance with 5S standards, safety norms, and proper usage of PPE .
- Coordinate with supervisors or line leaders to address technical issues or process deviations.
- Support activities across multiple lines or sites, including potential travel to customer or other facility locations.
Education and Skills :
- Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Freshers acceptable; relevant manufacturing or assembly exposure is a plus.
- Technical Competencies:
- Understanding of assembly drawings, BOMs, and production instructions.
- Familiarity with mechanical assembly, inspection, and troubleshooting methods.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn
- Basic problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and safety awareness
