Job Description :

GCC Vadodara campus is looking to hire a Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical) to support multiple new product development and other engineering initiatives in the field of plastic/mechanical product design. As a part of the Global Capability Center, the selected candidate will assist in executing projects that involve product development, sustain engineering, design for assembly/manufacturing, and mold-flow analysis using various plastic materials.
We’re looking for individuals with a strong interest or foundational knowledge in mechanical/plastic engineering, who are eager to learn, collaborate, and grow. The ITGC SOX Analyst will collaborate with critical IT and system control owners to ensure compliance with SOX requirements. Reporting to the ITGC Senior Manager, the role involves designing, testing, and documenting control activities across various IT systems, with a particular emphasis on ERP systems and cloud applications.

Role and Responsibility :

• Graduate Engineer Trainee:
  Support the mechanical design and development of products involving plastic and metallic components.
• Participate in tolerance stack-up studies, DFMEA, and DFM activities
• 2D/3D CAD preparation and detail engineering using Creo.
• Learn and adhere to design and quality standards as per project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams on engineering deliverables.
• Must Have Competencies:
• Solid understanding of core mechanical engineering concepts (mechanics, materials & manufacturing processes).
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively in a professional setting
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, dimensioning standards, and basic GD&T.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good to Have Competencies:
• Hands-on experience or academic project in product design, or manufacturing
• Hands-on experience of Creo software
• Demonstrated leadership and technical qualities
• Analyst:
• Collaborate with IT Control Owners to localize ITGC control designs for different IT systems, including networks, operating systems, databases, and applications.
• Generate documentation and prepare control data for SOX testing in coordination with IT Control Owners.
• Test the design and operating effectiveness of control activities.
• Conduct enterprise-wide user access reviews across multiple applications, business lines, and geographical locations.
• Execute and document ITGC testing for in-scope processes and applications.
• Coordinate control testing activities, including scheduling and document retrieval.
• Produce and distribute status reports and communications related to control testing activities.
• Provide ongoing communication to internal stakeholders throughout the testing process, escalating findings when necessary.
• Support the adoption of automated ITGC testing platforms by identifying controls for inclusion and defining prerequisites and logic for automated testing.
• Assist with scheduling required meetings, reviews, and other coordination needs.
• Prepare materials for team meetings and meetings with senior management.

Education and Skills :

• Graduate engineer Trainee:
  B.Tech./ BE in Mechanical engineering (2026 pass-out preferred)
• Strong academic record with marks >60% throughout academics
• Analyst:
• 0-4-year degree program in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business or Technology.
• Strong understanding of IT and general computer controls.
• 0-to-3-year experience working with Excel & data management in Accounting, Finance, Business or Technology systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience with ITGC documentation, risk, and control assessments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently and efficiently complete responsibilities while maintaining quality.
• Preferred: knowledge in technology areas such as access management, network security, release management, and incident response.
