For AI Intern – Rotor Performance: Step into the world of innovation as you contribute to the next‑generation aerodynamic performance analysis framework for wind turbines. You’ll work with the ROP India team to understand the existing system, build AI‑driven automation utilities, and strengthen technical documentation. Every day, you’ll help advance engineering workflows that support the future of renewable energy. For Technical Intern: This is a role well suited to a motivated and curious student or early-career professional who is looking to build a strong foundation in software and technology. As a Technical Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers and be responsible for supporting development, testing, and technical activities across projects.

Role and Responsibility :

  • For AI Intern – Rotor Performance:
  • Enhance the aerodynamic analysis framework by integrating AI‑based automation.
  • Develop and improve tools that support engineering analysis and validation.
  • Contribute to clear, structured documentation for internal and future users.
  • Support the creation of a scalable framework that enables broader user contributions.
  • Assist in setting up test environments and validation workflows for the tools developed.
  • For Technical Intern:
  • As a Technical Intern, you will be responsible for:
  • Assisting in the design, development, testing, and debugging of software components
  • Writing clean, well-structured, and maintainable code under guidance
  • Supporting verification, validation, and documentation of features and fixes
  • Helping analyze defects, logs, and system behavior to identify root causes
  • Learning and using development tools, version control, and build systems effectively
  • Participating in code reviews and technical discussions
  • Following software quality, security, and compliance processes
  • Collaborating with team members to meet project and delivery milestones
  • Working from the office five days a week to enable close collaboration, faster learning, and hands-on support

Education and Skills:

  • For AI Intern – Rotor Performance:
  • Currently a UG / PG / PhD student or a recent graduate in engineering, science, mathematics, or related fields from a reputed institution.
  • Ability to work from the Bangalore office for at least 3 months.
  • Strong proficiency in Python; familiarity with MATLAB and LaTeX is a plus.
  • Experience with data handling and applying AI/ML techniques for automation.
  • Ability to write clean, structured code; familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach suited to an R&D environment.
  • For Technical Intern:
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., C#, C++, Java, Python)
  • Understanding of software development fundamentals and lifecycle
  • Familiarity with Windows or other development environments
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and improve continuously
