The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) – Marketing Division, Northern Region has released the official notification for the engagement of Trade, Technician & Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Eligible candidates can apply online from 27 December 2025 to 12 January 2026 through NATS/NAPS portals.
Important Dates
- Notification Release / Application Start Date: 27 December 2025 (10:00 AM)
- Last Date to Apply Online: 12 January 2026 (05:00 PM)
- Document Verification for Shortlisted Candidates: Will be informed through Email.
Stipend
- Stipend will be paid as per Apprentices Act Rules
- Graduate Apprentices: ₹4500 (through BOAT) and remaining by IOCL
- Technician Apprentices: ₹4000 (through BOAT) and remaining by IOCL
- Additional ₹2500 will be paid for miscellaneous expenses
Age Limit (as on 31-12-2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years (General Category)
- Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 Years, OBC – 3 Years, PwBD – 10 Years (up to 15 years for SC/ST PwBD)
Eligibility
- Trade Apprentice (Fitter / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Instrument Mechanic / Machinist): Matric + 2 Years ITI (NCVT/SCVT)
- Technician Apprentice (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical & Electronics): 3 Years Full-Time Diploma with 50% (45% SC/ST/PwBD)
- Graduate Apprentice (BSc / BA / B.Com / BBA): Full-Time Graduation – 50% (45% SC/ST/PwBD)
- Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Fresher): Class 12th Passed (below Graduation)
- Trade Apprentice – DEO (Skill Certificate Holder): Class 12th + Domestic Data Entry Operator Skill Certificate

Selection Process
- No Written Exam / No Interview
- Selection on the basis of merit – % marks in qualifying examination
- Older age candidate will get preference in tie-case
- Document Verification and Medical Test are mandatory
