Join Cisco’s Catalyst SD-WAN team as a Junior Test Engineer, where you will begin your career by contributing to the quality assurance of innovative SD-WAN solutions. This role is ideal for fresh graduates with foundational knowledge in networking principles, including routing, forwarding, and core security concepts. You will gain hands-on experience in test automation using Python scripting and develop your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibility:

• Assist in developing and executing test cases to validate SD-WAN features and functionalities.
• Support the automation of test scripts using Python to improve testing efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and testing needs.
• Participate in troubleshooting and debugging issues found during testing.
• Learn and apply networking concepts related to routing, forwarding, and security in the context of SD-WAN.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and automation frameworks.
• Maintain documentation of test cases, results, and defects.
• Engage in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Education and Skills :

• Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Basic understanding of networking principles, including routing and forwarding concepts.
• Fundamental knowledge of core network security principles.
• Working knowledge of Python scripting for automation or programming tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic technology environment.
• Preferred Qualifications:
