Job Description :
We are looking for prospective candidates from the Graduating class of 2024/2025 to join our Support Engineering team as interns. In this role, you will provide technical support for Calix access platforms and cloud platforms, assisting our customers with troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with networking and cloud technologies while working in a customer-focused environment.

Role and Responsibility :
- Assist in manual testing of microservices.
- Work on the simulation of data.
- Building tools/utilities for cloud services.
- Automation of testcases using Python.
- Report bugs and inconsistencies with clear documentation and reproduction steps.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects.
- Participate in test planning and issue tracking discussions with local and global teams.
- Perform regression and smoke tests before production releases.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and weekly check-in calls with local and global teams.
Education and Skills :
- Good understanding of software development and testing life cycle.
- Strong knowledge in coding & Database concepts.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to document and communicate issues clearly.
- Strong communication skills.
- Nice to have – Knowledge of Cloud.
- Nice – familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, familiarity with API testing with tools like Postman.
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science / Information Technology or related streams. Should have graduated in 2024/ 2025.
