NMDC Steel Limited (NSL), a Government of India company under the Ministry of Steel, has released a notification for Walk-In Drive for Trade Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act – 1961. Eligible ITI candidates may directly attend the walk-in interview on the scheduled dates along with required documents.

- Walk-In for Welder: 13 January 2026
- Walk-In for Mechanical Fitter: 14 January 2026
- Walk-In for Electrician: 15 January 2026
- Reporting Time: 09:00 AM on all dates

Age Limit
- As per Apprenticeship Act Rules (not specified separately in notice)
Eligibility
- All trades require ITI Trade Certificate in relevant field
- COPA: 1 year regular ITI course
- Welder: 1 year regular ITI certificate
- Mechanical Fitter: 2 year full-time Trade Certificate
- Electrician: 2 year full-time Trade Certificate
- Candidates who already completed apprenticeship training earlier are not eligible

Stipend

Selection Process
- Selection will be based on Trade/Screen Test
- No TA/DA will be paid for Walk-In appearance
- No guarantee of job after completion of apprenticeship training

- Address Proof
- Caste Certificate (if applicable) — must be issued by state govt. authority
- Education Qualification Certificates – ITI certificates
