Eligibility
- Candidate must be a resident of respective Panchayat/Urban Ward in Garhwa district.
- Rural Home Guard Minimum Education: Class 7th Pass.
- Urban Home Guard Minimum Education: Matric (10th Pass).
- Technical Skilled Posts (only for Urban): Candidates must have skill certificate in trade such as plumber, electrician, mason, carpenter, tailor, etc.

Physical Standards
- Male Height: 162 cm (General) / 157 cm (SC/ST).
- Female Height: 148 cm (All Categories).
- Male Chest: 79-84 cm (General) / 76-81 cm (SC/ST).
Selection Process
- Physical Test (Running, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put).
- Hindi Writing Test (for Urban candidates only) – 10th level
- Technical Skill Test (for Urban Technical Home Guards)
- Final Merit List will be based on marks in tests and bonus marks (for NSS, NCC, Games etc.)
