The West Bengal Police – Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Scientific Officer, Scientific Assistant and Driver posts on a contractual basis for the year 2025. A total of 81 vacancies have been announced. Eligible candidates can apply in offline mode from 16 December 2025 to 30 December 2025 (up to 18:00 hrs) by submitting the application through the prescribed format.

Eligibility
- Scientific Officer: First Class Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from a recognized University or equivalent and FACT qualified.
- Scientific Assistant: Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from a recognized University or equivalent and FACT qualified.
- Driver: Class VIII pass, resident of West Bengal, valid LMV Driving License with at least 02 years’ experience.

Salary / Stipend
- Scientific Officer: Rs. 35,800/- per month
- Scientific Assistant: Rs. 28,900/- per month
- Driver: Rs. 16,000/- per month
- P-Tax and Income Tax will be deducted as per government norms.
