The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Grade “C” Stenographers Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE), 2025. This examination is conducted for promotion to Grade “C” Stenographer posts in various central government services/cadres including CSSS, AFHQ, IFS (B), Railway Board Secretariat, ECI and CVC. - AFHQ: Minimum 3 years approved & continuous service in Grade ‘D’.
- Railway Board Secretariat: Minimum 6 years approved service (relaxations as per rules).
- ECI: Minimum 3 years approved & continuous service in Grade ‘D’.
- CVC: Minimum 5 years regular service as Steno Grade ‘D’.
- Computer literacy is mandatory.
