The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Lecturer, Research Officer, Professor, and Other posts. Eligible candidates can apply online from 25 September 2025 to 27 October 2025 through the official website uppsc.up.nic.in.

Application Fee

  • UR/EWS/OBC: ₹105 (₹80 fee + ₹25 processing)
  • SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen: ₹65 (₹40 fee + ₹25 processing)
  • PwD: ₹25 (Processing fee only)
  • Dependents of Freedom Fighters/Women/Skilled Player: As per category

Age Limit

  • Professor (Ayurveda): 25 – 40 Years
  • Lecturer: 25 – 40 Years
  • Regional Archives Officer: 30 – 40 Years
  • Research Officer: 21 – 40 Years
  • Chemist: 21 – 40 Years
  • Assistant Geophysicist: 21 – 40 Years
  • System Analyst: 30 – 45 Years
  • Executive Officer: 21 – 40 Years
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per Uttar Pradesh Government rules.

Eligibility

  • Professor (Ayurveda): As per norms of Ayurvedic faculty/direct recruitment rules.
  • Lecturer: Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject.
  • Regional Archives Officer: Master’s in Medieval/Modern Indian History (50%) + Diploma in Archival Studies + 5 years experience.
  • Research Officer: Postgraduate in Mathematics/Statistics/Commerce/Economics (55%) or PG Diploma in Statistics + knowledge of Hindi (Devanagari).
  • Chemist: Master’s in Chemistry (60%) or equivalent, preference for geochemical survey experience/Territorial Army/NCC.
  • Assistant Geophysicist: Master’s in Geophysics/Geology with minimum 60% marks.
  • System Analyst: ME/M.Tech/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. (CS) + 3–5 years experience in software development, RDBMS, networking, web-based application development.
  • Executive Officer: Master’s degree (preferably English/Psychology), preference for commissioned service/Territorial Army/NCC background.
