Role And Responsibility :
- Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code for end-user applications, systems software, and firmware running on hardware, local, networked, and Internet- based platforms; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
- Codes and programs test scripts, automation, and integration activities based on specific test requirements.
- Conducts functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to validate software functionality.
- Automates testing processes using appropriate tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and repeatability.
- Monitors and enforces adherence to established coding standards, design guidelines, and best practices.
- Monitors software performance and conducts load and stress testing to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
Education and Skills :
- Four-year Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in software development, information technology, engineering environment, or a related field.
